The next challenge
that I have to do to push me out of my comfort zone is to ask for a change in
the nearest shop.
Well, it was not as
difficult as I expected. Without any embracement, I came to the corner shop. There
was a minute of hesitation, though. However, a few moments later I was in line waiting
for my turn to come. I smiled shyly looking at the face of the shopkeeper and
asked her if she could change a 1000-ruble bill. She answered that unfortunately
there was a problem with money today and it was impossible to make change. Then,
I thanked her and left the shop. This action turned out to be quite natural
and, as I noticed, asking for help was not as problematic as it was in the
beginning of my experiment.
Now I see - carrying
out these tasks is very helpful. I cannot but get impressed by the result every
time. Some years ago, I couldn’t imagine that I would do anything like that,
but now it seems easy!
Nevertheless, there is
still a lot of work to do to make
myself braver…😁
Thank you for reading!
I'm so glad that these tasks are getting easier for you! And for me, hearing of a 1000-ruble bill is pretty insane. I never realized how drastic of a difference it was between a ruble and a dollar!
