To overcome
stage fright, I have to do the 4th challenge that is to sing in
front of someone indoors.
First off,
I should mention I can’t sing. I sing very badly and then I’m afraid of
performing in front of the audience. So, I wasn’t quite sure to the last
whether it should have been performed or not because it’s quite specific.
Well, my
friend and I went to the recreation park that is not far from our place. As
different public events are held on holidays, there’s a stage there. I felt
quite uncomfortable when I was going upstairs on the stage as if I had to give
a live concert performance all the night long, but the audience wasn’t so huge
to call it a concert, only three or five people passing by. Then, I pressed the
button “play” and the melody started playing. I felt short of breath and my
face got red. People were staring at me, and that moment I felt really
uncomfortable, but I ignored my feelings and started sinning.
When the
song was to be sung at last, and I still was unwell – my legs were wobbling
with a silly smile on my face. It was terrifying just to stand alone in front
of some strangers and sing ( a great mixture of embracement and adrenaline). But
in the end I was happy that everything ended.
Though it’s
a great experience, I’m sorry but I’m not going to experience it once again!
Oh... I'm sorry that challenge made you feel so uncomfortable :(
